BlastSafe Containment Vessels

Patented design to absorb and fully contain the effect of blast and fragmentation for up to 15 kg (33 lbs) of explosives (TNT or equivalent).

When you have to safely contain, store, transport or protect explosives, we can provide the proven solution. Our containers are extensively tested by government authorities and independent laboratories. The GOLAN models are approved for use as "Standard Magazines" by the Department of Defense Explosive Safety Board (DDESB).

Designed for safety, strength and functionality, our containers can be mounted on trailers or fitted with remote operational capability. Our smaller units weigh as little as 110 lbs. and can be easily carried by attached handles. Larger units are available on wheels or are trailer mounted and towable. Custom designs can meet any requirement including Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD).

Our fully confined containers have been used on a daily basis for over fifteen years by police and military users around the world. The safety containers are some of the most field tested explosives containment vessels in the world. The explosive storage containers are based on patented technology. Through day-by-day interaction with long-time users, We have implemented many enhancements, changes and improvements to our product line. This has resulted in a line of reliable, low maintenance, easy-to-use, safe containers for daily use.

The Golan 4 Gas Tight (G4GT) is proven to withstand explosions up to 4 kg (8.8 lbs) of TNT or equivalent and remain Gas-Tight up to 2 KG (4.4 lbs.) TNT or equivalent. The G4Gt is designed to protect against potentially harmful biological and chemical threats.

Blast containment trashcans

Blast containment trashcans combine a high strength outer steel shell with a patented inner compressive layer to provide security, protection and safety to the surrounding public. The compressive layer is designed to absorb the major blast energy and resist fragments. The outer shell contains any remaining lateral blast energy and fragmentation. Residual blast energy is vented upwards away from the public, keeping the receptacle impenetrate.

Our containers have been extensively tested by government agencies and independent labs. Our blast containment products are being installed and utilized by numerous US and International Airports as well as being used within many other transportation venues, government facilities, and other critical infrastructure locations.

The ProtecTable

We glad to offer a new solution to enhance the security during the Travel Process:
Mistral developed and manufactures blast resistant check in tables suitable for locations such as airports, government facilities, embassies, public facilities etc…

The ProtecTable provides an immediate solution in such cases that the TSA Inspector suspects an object in the bag that is being checked is "HOT" suspect object.

The ProtecTable looks like any regular check in table which is placed between the TSA Inspector and the crowded. The bag is being placed on the table for an intensive hand search. In case the TSA Inspector finds a suspect item, he simply needs to pull a handle that will open the top off the ProtecTable and the object will fall into a blast containment vessel which is placed inside the ProtecTable. This vessel can provide protection up to 6 lbs of TNT or equivalent.

The ProtecTable is designed to quickly and safely contain the items which are identified as suspect and to protect against explosion. The suspected item will fall into a suspended bag which will protect the items inside the bag from breaking or damaging. Using the ProtecTable will provide the TSA Inspector the ability to shift from an unsecured situation to a secure situation within 2 seconds. From the time he suspects the item is an explosive device to a secure situation when he places the item in the blast resistant vessel.

The ProtecTable allows the TSA Inspector to handle the object, while it is still inside the vessel or to remove it by using a robot. The ProtecTable is provided with wheels for easy removal from the area and away from a crowded situation.

Contraband Detector

The M600P is a hand held device which can positively detect anomalies packed in a scanned item, etc (including the detection of contraband such as drugs, explosives, weapons, currency and much more). This is a fast and effective way to detect contraband concealed in objects such as tires, cargo, doors, walls and any other object or substance that may contain contraband.

The principle of operation for the M600P is the measurement of the difference in density between contraband (drugs, explosives, weapons etc.) and the object in which the contraband is hidden.

The M600P uses low level microwave energy for detection, yet is completely safe. Since it does not use x-rays or nuclear radiation, it is much safer than many other devices in use today. The portability makes it very convenient for rapid searching.

The M600P is a highly effective search tool, handheld and easy to use. The complete kit includes probe, earpiece, battery pack, full instructions and carrying case.
